This month we talk a bit more about VSM-Now, review the show, and introduce some members of the Alemba team (including a little puffin named Melvin!).

Meet Melvin

Those of you who came to the SDITS show might have seen this little guy flying from the stand in a spectacular fashion! For those who don’t know, Melvin the puffin is our company mascot. We picked this cute little creature for the very colourful beak which matches the colours in the Alemba logo.

Puffin Fact:
An Atlantic puffin lives to be about 20 years old or more in the wild.

iPad 2 Winner

At the show we had a prize draw that gave entrants a chance to win a white iPad2 (with 64GB, 3G and WiFi).

Meet the Team:

Holly Boyle, Operations Manager
I have a long history with the infra/VSM product, having first used infra version 5 back in 2001. Since then, I’ve been a customer, an Infra Product Consultant, done Quality Assurance for Infra customisations, been a customer again, and am now Operations Manager at Alemba.

I’ve seen a lot of change, from Infra to EMC to VMware and now Alemba, and from v5 to v9 of the product, and I know the future holds some exciting new developments too. I’ve worked with some fantastic customers along the way – each one different, and each project requiring different approaches.

My role at Alemba is really enjoyable – I work with a very bright, funny, focussed team. We all get a lot of satisfaction from helping customers get the best out of the products and projects we deliver, and helping to resolve their Service Management headaches...

Meet the Team:

Kerrie Ridge, Sales Co-ordinator
I am the newest member of Alemba. I am the Sales Co-ordinator supporting Lisa Nugent, Laurence Scott-Mackay and Simon Nugent. Alemba is a very fast paced environment and growing rapidly. I thrive on the pressures this role provides and enjoy the variety of each process.

I was previously a Recruitment Consultant, so I enjoy being within the sales team. My responsibility is to ensure that every client gets the best service that can be offered as they’re making their decisions, and upholding that service all the way through to when Holly takes over.

I love the office environment here, and we support each other above and beyond, which I feel radiates through to everyone that works with us.
